The Network is a loose affiliation and belongs to everyone. This website, however, is currently run by Sasha Warren and Mel B.

Sasha lives in Minneapolis. He has experience as a psychiatric patient and currently works in the mental health field. His book on radical politics and psychiatry, Storming Bedlam: Madness, Utopia, and Revolt, will be out in March 2024 with Common Notions press and covers Network activity extensively. He writes about the history of psychiatry and madness on his SubStack, Of Unsound Mind. He cofounded the Hearing Voices chapter in Minnesota and the Minnesota branch of ISPS-US. You can follow him on twitter @sashadurakov and on instagram @ofunsound. You can email him at unsoundmind@protonmail.com.

Mel is a person with lived experience of trauma, madness, and disability and has been working in the field of psychology in various settings for over ten years. They are finishing up their degree in marriage and family therapy and applied community psychology in Los Angeles and provide individual, couple, and family therapy at The Relational Center in Los Angeles. They also work as a psychiatric trauma clinic facilitator, panel and workshop facilitator, and peer mental health advocate for ProjectLETS, and have been building out an autonomous mental health support model called Mutual Aid Self/Social Therapy which is currently running bi-weekly in person at the Skid Row Museum.
